It is essential that all city staff feel connected and aligned with the Strategic Plan. A Strategic Plan is the city’s aspirational, future-focused, and actionable roadmap. The City of Welland’s Strategic Plan results from a collaborative discussion, open dialogue, and consensus building amongst everyone in our community. This includes you.

Our Strategic Plan is being created through a multi-phased process, focusing on key components and building upon their outcomes as we move forward. Starting with a strong mission, vision, and values, we developed high-level priorities before focusing on key performance objectives. With City Council at the steering wheel setting the vision and direction, we now need your thoughts, opinions, and ideas.
