Solving a city in crisis with these simple steps: 1. Hire someone from out of the area to rebrand the city because people who grew up here and know the city best aren't capable (though I suppose this is necessary since the city is trying to sell itself to the GTA) 2. Ensure this company's brand strategy hinges on idea theft (the phrase "Cinnamon Toast" by itself is protected under a well established trademark by a Fortune 500 corporation; reaffirmed in "Kellogg Company v. General Mills, Inc., 2007") 3. Pay the aforementioned company $59,000 of other people's hard-earned money for a wavy looking "W" (Sarah Marko received a $300 gift card when she made the city logo in 2016!) 4. Complete the tasks late (was a being paid a monetary sum well above the median annual income in Welland not enough incentive for this company to submit their work on time?) 5. Continue doing nothing to help with relevant social issues (I am sure people will appreciate seeing the new "W" logo while they are digging through the trash cans in front of city hall) USING THE NICEST PAINT YOU CAN FIND DOESN'T CHANGE THAT YOU ARE PAINTING OVER PROBLEMS

The most frequent injury of a letter carrier in Welland is a dog bite. Every year we run an “all dogs can bite campaign” throughout Welland, but every year we continue to have dog bites. Tune in to the knowledge we've acquired around safe mail and parcel delivery throughout our city. We are also happy to dive into other topics such as proper delivery protocol, how to track your item in real-time, and how to prevent the delivery of unwanted admail.

With Welland set to grow so quickly in the next 5, 10, 15 years, could you provide predictions as to how this growth in population will change the current demographic profile of Welland and what plans the city has to encourage all those new folks to spend their disposable income in Welland, rather than Niagara Falls, St Catharines, etc.

This is in regards to the survey So far you say a bunch of nice words that are well meaning but the city plans thus far are the exact opposite. You are tearing down the environment for more housing and livability, while not putting in places for people to do things in Welland. You are making the wrong choice. This survey is going to give you false numbers. You aren't asking how the people feel about Welland but how they feel about the statement. I agree that your vision is nice but you are doing the opposite of it as a town. I grew up in Welland and watching it turn into a suburb is depressing there is nothing bringing people to Welland we are a commuter city. What is there to do in Welland for youth or sport. The arena is terrible you are planning to demolish the curling club. Memorial park is gone, there are hardly any restaurants what is bringing people to Welland. As a family I have to go to st Catharines for a good meal. Or Niagara falls for entertainment. There is a floating stage in the canal then never has music playing. There is so much potential for this city being wasted and the planners and essentially the council refuse to do what's best for the city instead focusing on their pockets and what makes the most money.
